Homemade Laundry Soap

I’ve got a recipe I love that makes an all-round, gentle, laundry soap. It makes up five gallons of liquid laundry soap for next to nothing. I’ve been using this soap for years. I didn’t form the recipe myself. My daughter gave me the recipe when her youngest was a baby. She got it from some friends. I don’t know who originated this bit of money-saving brilliance, but the recipe, and adaptations of it, are all over the internet. There are only three basic ingredients (besides water) and a 5 gallon bucket.
